Skinny Burger_3

Sometimes a girl just craves a burger. Not a turkey burger, or a veggie burger, or even a black bean burger. I’m talking all-beef deliciousness. But we’ve heard (or dare I say seen on our scales the next morning) how bad burgers are for you. Well yea! When you go to BGR or Shake Shack and you’re not sure the type of ground beef (fat percentage) and the buns are practically drowning in oil. But what about burgers at home? If done right, you can cut hundreds, yes hundreds of calories without sacrificing flavor.

Skinny Burgers

  • 1 pound Ground Beef, 93/7 fat
  • 1 tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tomato, sliced into rounds
  • Lettuce, for topping
  • 4 Arnold Whole Wheat Sandwich Thins

Instructions

  1. Using your hands, knead ground beef with onion powder and garlic powder, until mixed well.
  2. Divide the meat into 4 portions and shape into round patties.
  3. Using a Panini grill, indoor grill or outdoor grill, cook patties through.
  4. Serve on Sandwich Thins with ketchup, mustard tomato slices and/or lettuce. If you like, top each with one reduced-fat cheese slice.
