Nicecream. It’s like ice cream, but it’s really nice to your body. At least, that’s how I like to think of it. If you haven’t heard of Nicecream, today is your lucky day. I am so excited to be trying out my first few batches of nicecream. What is niceream? Nicecream is banana-based ice cream. As a matter of fact, plain nicecream is just frozen bananas and it’s super easy to whip up and keep in your freezer for those days (or nights) when you just have to have something frozen and sweet but don’t want to snack on something heavy.
Since I got back from my vacation mid-august, I’ve decided it’s time to work on myself. The new “it” term is self-care. I definitely needed self-care. Self care is any activity that we do deliberately in order to take care of our mental, emotional, and physical health. What does that mean? Well, for me, it means re-calibrating my life. Being consistent with daily and weekly tasks (like, ehm ehm, working out). Setting personal goals like drinking 2 liters of water daily, tracking my calorie intake via myfitnesspal, daily meditation, setting aside at least 30 minutes a day to read, or in my case listen to an audiobook, set a regular bedtime, and stick to a skincare routine.
It’s been about a week, and I’m feeling great! I downloaded a few apps to help me keep track of my personal goals. My favorite is called Strides it’s pretty fabulous.
In an attempt to keep my fitness and diet goals on track, I’m committing to replacing ice cream with Nicecream. The beauty of nicecream is that you can create so many delicious flavors by making just a few additions.
