Crispy Air Fryer Chickpeas

I found a recipe for a really good cilantro salad dressing and I couldn’t wait to use it. But it needed a simple salad. I went with mixed greens and crispy chickpeas.

Crispy chickpeas are really good on salads, alone as a snack or even as a crunchy topping on soup.

Crispy Air Fryer Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 2 cans chickpeas, washed and drained
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the chickpeas with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika and cumin
  2. Pour the chickpeas into our air fryer, and cook for 10 minutes at 200C
  3. Shake the basket and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes until crispy
