I found a recipe for a really good cilantro salad dressing and I couldn’t wait to use it. But it needed a simple salad. I went with mixed greens and crispy chickpeas.
Crispy chickpeas are really good on salads, alone as a snack or even as a crunchy topping on soup.
Crispy Air Fryer Chickpeas
Ingredients
- 2 cans chickpeas, washed and drained
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup olive oil
Directions
- In a medium bowl, mix the chickpeas with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika and cumin
- Pour the chickpeas into our air fryer, and cook for 10 minutes at 200C
- Shake the basket and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes until crispy
